Sugo di Pomodoro
Welcome back!
I’m running a little behind. I’ve had a lot on my mind and a lot to do, but I managed to cook some delicious meals in the last few days.
This sauce has been a great help, I can pop it open whenever I’d like. It’s simple and truly tasty.
Have you ever made your own tomato sauce? It’s quite gratifying. Nothing beats Mutti but I tried my best.
I’ve been really loving making dishes from scratch. I made my own raspberry jam the other day for a Vicky sponge desert. I made ciabatta so that I could have fresh croutons for some salad. I. am. SmUG.
I won’t talk much more since the video is there, it’s easy to do, and a great idea for you next September, when tomatoes are about to go out of season. Save this idea somewhere in your notes folder, I’m sure you have a spot for some potential pomodoro plans.
Note: Pomodoro means golden apple. And pomme de terre means apple of the ground. And theres a german word for orange which means chinese apple? I learnt this watching Only Connect with some non-brits who i bribed with food in exchange for some english TV time.
